We are writing to inform you about an upcoming scheduled technical maintenance that will take place on:

Date & Time: Tuesday, 28.10.2025, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM UTC
Maintenance Window: 1 hour

Purpose of Maintenance
During this maintenance window, we will perform a controlled upgrade of our NGINX Ingress Controller from version 2.4.2 to 5.2.1.
This major upgrade is essential to enhance system performance, observability, and security, as well as to ensure compatibility with the latest Kubernetes (v1.28+) standards.

Expected Impact
Please be aware that during this maintenance window, there may be brief interruptions (~20 seconds per ingress endpoint) while the controller pods restart.
All ingress resources will remain intact after the upgrade, and no configuration loss is expected.

Key Improvements
Improved NGINX reload efficiency and reduced latency
Enhanced TLS security defaults and configurable headers
Better error handling, metrics exposure, and monitoring capabilities
Preparation for future mTLS and policy-based traffic management features
